NP Brussels office seeks energetic and creative individuals to assist Fundraising and Strategic Relations Departments for 4 months minimum. Specifically, this unpaid internship will be focused on fundraising research. Knowledge or willingness to learn about the specific themes related to NP, including civilian peacekeeping and human security will be an asset.

Essentials Qualifications and Experience
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, and confidence using these in a cross-cultural environment
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced, challenging non-profit setting
- Accuracy and attention to details
- Strong research and analysis skills
- Ability to respect deadlines
- Academic degree
- French, Spanish or other languages an asset
- Good MS Word and Excel. Experience in database management an asset
Responsibilities
In order to support the work of NP’s International Fundraising Team your areas of responsibility will include:
- Analysing EU and European governments’ policies for relevant aspects and fundraising
opportunities for nonviolent intervention - Maintaining and improving the existing contacts in European and national institutions
- Researching about peacebuilding and development agencies' work in areas of interest for NP projects (Sri Lanka, Philippines, Uganda, Guatemala, Colombia, others)
- Attending relevant meetings and conferences with donors and other partners
- Other tasks related to fundraising and communication support
Nonviolent Peaceforce is willing to support applications for the Leonardo Da Vinci Program and other scholarships/ grants. NP will assist the candidate in finding accommodation.
